and opposing counsel both in and out of the courtroom, Mr. Richman’s

Prior to representing those individuals charged with committing a crime,
Mr. Richman was a felony prosecutor in Lumpkin County and White County,
and senior misdemeanor prosecutor in Forsyth County. With grant funding
provided by the federal government, while working in Lumpkin and White
counties Mr. Richman was tasked with prosecuting crimes involving domestic
violence, as well as crimes concerning child physical and sexual abuse.
Mr. Richman holds a certification in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing
and DUI detection from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration
(NHTSA), and has also received extensive training on breathalyzer machines
including the Preliminary Breath Test and the Intoxilyzer 5000 and 9000,
which are used in Georgia’s DUI arrests. Due to Mr. Richman’s
expertise with DUI law, he has been asked by both Forsyth County and Lumpkin
County law enforcement to teach proper DUI detection protocol and courtroom
testimony to Forsyth and Lumpkin County police officers.
Mr. Richman is a graduate of the Florida State University College of Law
where he received his law degree, with honors. He also earned a Bachelor
of Science degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Florida State
University and was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. Mr. Richman
is licensed to practice in all Magistrate, Probate, Municipal, State,
and Superior courts of Georgia. Additionally, Mr. Richman has been given
the distinguished honor to represent his clients in the Supreme Court
of Georgia.
