Richman Law Firm Client Acquitted on All Charges

In a case which has just recently come to a close, a Richman Law Firm client was acquitted of all felony charges of impersonating a police officer. This case was a highly satisfying victory for our Cumming criminal defense attorney, AJ Richman, as our own investigation revealed that our client was completely innocent. The Initial Incident

In August of 2014, our client Sonya A. had visited Austin’s Tavern in Cumming, and had allegedly flashed a badge when asked to present her ID, claiming that she was a police officer. At that point, bar management called the police, and Sonya was led away in handcuffs.

Upon taking Sonya’s case, however, it quickly became clear that there were serious holes in the stories told by the bar’s staff. We launched our own investigation into the case, and quickly determined that the lack of an initial investigation by arresting officers was just one of several issues with the prosecution’s case. When we presented our case in court, justice prevailed.
