Attorney A.J. Richman successfully defended a man who was accused of murder, two counts of felony murder, two counts of burglary, aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery. Mr. Richman’s client was found guilty on only one charge of burglary and was cleared of the other charges.

Parent of 18-year-old who died in jail desperate to know what happened

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is looking into what led to the death of a teen in the Dawson County jail. Channel 2′s Mike Petchenik talked to Jonathan Sanford’s parents, who are devastated at the loss of their son and said they just want answers. Sandford’s parents described the 18-year-old as a typical teenager, a recent high school graduate looking forward to a fun summer with friends.

A decorated Alpharetta police officer and a former military officer were accused of excessive force during a traffic stop. As of April 4, 2020, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Alpharetta Police Department cleared him of excessive force. The case still remains open, but AJ Richman believes all charges will soon be dismissed.
